FaceBlur is a free browser-based video face redaction tool. It automatically detects and tracks visible faces in MP4, MOV, and WebM videos. Users can apply mosaic pixelation, soft blur, or a solid cover, adjust the safety margin, optionally remove audio, and export the result without a watermark or account.

## How it works

1. Choose or drop a video up to 90 MB.
2. Review the automatic face masks and select a redaction effect.
3. Adjust strength and safety margin if needed.
4. Export and download the processed video.

Face detection and video encoding run in the user's browser. The original is also uploaded to private storage. The site does not claim that detection is infallible: small, turned, partly obscured, or fast-moving faces can be missed, so users should review the complete result before sharing it. Mosaic or solid cover is safer than soft blur for sensitive footage.
