Using FaceBlur

You may use FaceBlur only with videos you have the right and permission to process. Do not use the service to break the law, violate another person's rights, distribute harmful material, or interfere with the service.

Uploads and file handling

Your original is copied to private storage when you choose a video. Face detection, preview, and export run in your browser. The finished export downloads from your device.

By uploading a file, you authorize FaceBlur to receive, store, and handle it as needed to operate and maintain the service. Do not upload a file if you are not permitted to store it with an online service.

Your output

You are responsible for checking the exported file and deciding whether it is suitable to share. Face detection can miss small, turned, hidden, reflected, or fast-moving faces. Covering faces does not remove every other identifying detail.

Service availability

FaceBlur is provided as available, without a promise that it will always work, support every codec, or produce a particular result. Features, limits, and these terms may change as the service changes.

No compliance claim

FaceBlur does not certify anonymity or compliance with a law, regulation, contract, or organizational policy. Use a professional editor and appropriate review process when a missed frame could cause harm.
