Face blur video demo: synthetic before and after
This four-second demonstration contains only programmatically drawn, fictional faces. It shows two moving face regions with and without mosaic masks.
Visual description
From 0:00 through 0:04, two illustrated people move slightly against a neutral background. In the after version, rectangular mosaic blocks move over both face regions. There is no speech or audio.
What this demo represents
- Two face regions can receive the same mosaic treatment.
- Expanded masks can move with changing face positions.
- Mosaic removes visible facial detail while preserving the surrounding scene.
What it does not prove
This deliberately simple animation does not demonstrate performance on profiles, crowds, occlusion, low light, distant faces, or rapid cuts. Real footage must be reviewed because automatic detection can miss.
